Balancing Blood Sugar

Did you know nearly one in three Americans has prediabetes? Maybe even more alarming, 90 percent of those with prediabetes don’t even know they have it.
Prediabetes simply means your blood sugar levels are above normal and, long-term, that’s not a good thing. Not only are elevated blood sugar levels associated with developing Type 2 diabetes, but it can also lead to insulin resistance, or metabolic syndrome, heart disease, stroke and even Alzheimer’s disease. In fact, some doctors are beginning to refer to Alzheimer’s disease as Type 3 diabetes, due to the association between blood sugar levels and the cognitive disorder.
The good news is, there are many steps you can take to help balance your blood sugar. Diet and lifestyle play a critical role. For more, check out registered dietitian Nicole Gould's 7 Diet and Lifestyle Tips to Reduce Blood Sugar Spikes.
Additionally, supplements can have a dramatic effect.
While there are many great options available, one of the most comprehensive formulas I’ve seen is Glucose Support. Glucose Support (available here on shop.vchoice.com) combines a variety of research validated minerals and herbs at effective doses. The formula combines chromium, vanadium and alpha lipoic acid with time-tested herbal remedies including gymnema, bitter melon and lagerstroemia, commonly called banaba leaf. Over the years we have received great feedback on this product, including some cases where people have been able to reduce or even eliminate their prescription medications.
Please note, if you are currently taking glucose medications, do not use this product before consulting your doctor as it can enhance the effects of many glucose medications.

Hydration depends on having the right balance of minerals inside and outside your cells, so water moves where it is needed. Without them, water can pass through the body without fully hydrating the tissues.

For many, allergy season doesn’t begin with sneezing. It starts with sinus pressure, headaches and post-nasal drip. By the time classic allergy symptoms show up, the immune system has often been reacting for weeks.
