How do I create an online shopping account if I’ve shopped in-store before?

If you’ve shopped with us before all you need to do is link your online account with your in-store account. To do this, you’ll need either your Rewards Card number (found on the back of your rewards card or prior purchase receipt, or the email address you’ve previously provided in-store. (If you don’t know either of these, please call us at 440-885-9505 and we can look up for your Rewards number).

To register your account (existing in-store customers):

  1. Go to and click the Login/Register icon in the right-hand side of the page (just below the shopping cart icon). You will be taken to the Login page.
  2. Next if you’ve shopped with us before, click the link “Forgot, or need to create your password? Click here” link.
  3. Enter your Rewards card number (ex. 400005xxxxxxx or 300004xxxxxxx) or previously provided email address.
  4. You will receive an email with a link to create your password.

Once you’ve entered the information you’re ready to go! Once logged in you can click on your name in the upper-right and review your past orders, review rewards, update your address and phone and more.

How do I create an account if I’m a first-time shopper or I’ve never used your Rewards card?

To register your account (first-time shopper):

  1. Go to and click the Login/Register icon in the right-hand side of the page (just below the shopping cart icon). You will be taken to the Login page.
  2. Complete the “New Customers” info on the right hand side of page.
  3. If you want to receive coupons and special offers select the box “Opt in to marketing.” You can opt in or out at any time from your profile.
  4. Click ‘Signup’ and your online shopping and VC Rewards accounts are active.   

Once logged in you can click on your name in the upper-right side of every page and review your profile. Note – if you have selected to receive marketing information, be sure to enter your birthdate to receive a special coupon each year on your birthday.

Can I use my account in the store?

Yes! Your online and in-store account are the same. We encourage you to always use your customer account any time you shop with us. This allows you access to all of your previous purchases, both online and in the store, making it easier for you to shop. You will also earn Rewards on products purchased.

Do I have to provide a phone number to shop online?

No, but we recommend it. We will send you a confirmation email upon receiving your order. By providing your phone number, we can contact you quickly if there are any issues with your order. You may also receive text messages regarding the status of your order if you choose to.

Is your online inventory the same as your in-store inventory?

Yes! Our online store is in real-time communication with our store. This means our inventory will change throughout the day as items are purchased or received. The info you see online is the same information our staff has in-store. In rare situations, an item may show as “In stock” online but be unavailable. In this case you will receive an email or phone call describing the delay.

Can I review my receipts online?

You can! Our online shopping service will give you access to your past orders, both online and in-store. 

Can I still use my coupons?

Yes. All coupons and Rewards offers will be applied at the store before your transaction is complete. Coupons must be presented at that time. 

Can I pay for my order on-line?

Yes! Currently, we can accept all major credit cards through PayPal payment. In addition, if you are picking up your order, you can choose pay-at-pickup. Our goal is to make shopping with us as easy as possible. If you would like, we can securely store your credit card for rapid checkout via secure credit card tokenization (more on that below). Once set-up, you can quite literally run in and out of Vital Choice without needing to reach for your wallet! 

Can you store my credit card number? Is it safe?

Yes, we can safely store your payment information for future purchases through an industry leading tokenization process. This is a little nerdy, but critical for security. In credit card tokenization, your primary account number is replaced with a series of randomly-generated numbers, which is called the “token.” These tokens can then be stored and passed through the various wireless networks needed to process the payment without actual bank details being exposed. So, we don’t actually store your credit card information, just the randomly generated token.

When can I pick up my online order?

When completing your order, you will be asked to select a pick-up date and time. Our system may limit your pickup options based on time of day and number of orders previously submitted. This is to ensure that we will have enough time to process your order while still helping in-store customers. Often, your order will be ready before your requested time. You will receive an email or text (based on your profile options) when your order is ready for pickup.  

How can I look through more than 6,000+ items and find exactly what I am looking for?

When searching, sometimes less is more! We have a smart auto-fill feature added to the search box. You can search there by brand, description, etc. We also have multiple ways to narrow your choices. These “filters” allow to refine your search results by category, best sellers, even health attributes like organic and non-GMO. 

Is there a convenience fee for paying-at-pickup?

Nope. You pay the same prices online as you would in store. We do not charge a convenience or personal shopping fee at this time.

How do the lists work?

You can create lists and use them to shop. Create a list for those staple items you buy every week or the supplements you buy every month. You can also make lists of the ingredients for that dish you want to make next week. You can then add individual items from those lists and move or copy the entire list to your shopping cart.

How can I shop for weighted bulk items with the online shopping cart?

For weighted bulk items, you can choose approximate quantities in quarter-pound increments. We will bag the product you requested as close as possible to the weight you ordered. Please note, you will be charged based on the actual weight of the product which may be vary slightly from the amount you requested online.

Can I order an items not found on your website.

Yes and no. Currently, we are unable to process special orders online. However, we place dozens of special orders every week in-store. Please call 440-885-9505 if you need to order a product not on our site. 

Why are so many items listed as 'Out of Stock'?

Currently, "Out of Stock" refers to any item that we stock but is currently unavailable, or items that we don't normally stock but we are able to special order. We are working with our website team to change the way this displays.
