Part-Time Health Assistant and Cashier Opportunities (15-25 Hours/Week)

Cashier
Cashier responsibilities include greeting customers and processing transactions. Ultimately, the role of all Vital Choice staff is to provide an excellent customer experience to ensure our customers return.
Responsibilities include:
- Process sales transactions
- Calculate the cost of products or services
- Accept payments
- Calculate and return change when required by the payment method
- Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change
- Answer basic customer questions about products or services and their location
- Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts
- Report issues with equipment
- Maintain a clean register and store environment
You must have:
- Ability to calculate sales and change quickly
- Accountability and accuracy in reconciling sales receipts
- Oriented toward serving others and helping customers
- Customer-service skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Excellent verbal communication
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment
- Attention to detail

Health Assistant / Sales Associate
The Sales Associate, or Health Assistant, is critical to the Vital Choice Health Store experience and mission of helping people get and stay healthy.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure that each customer has an exceptional experience by providing a genuine and friendly experience
- Maintain solid product knowledge and stay current with new product introductions.
- Utilize daily and monthly cleaning lists and perform general housekeeping to maintain a clean, organized store.
- Assist in processing shipment, replenishing product, merchandising and monitoring floor stock to ensure all product is displayed and rotated correctly.
- Complete transactions at the POS quickly and accurately.
You must have:
- A genuine interest in getting and staying healthy.
- A strong focus on building customer relationships through an exceptional customer experience.
- Energy, enthusiasm, and integrity.
- An ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced, multiple priority environment.
- Evening (until 7:30pm) and weekend availability
